* Position: QA ENGINEER
**Location: Rochester, NY
**Duration: 6 months*
Great opportunity for a mid-level Test Engineering Technician. This
position involves testing of hardware, firmware and software for new
product development. Perform electrical testing and feature/function
verification as needed for new engineering designs. May assist with some
assembly of parts, board level and system level testing and verification.
Working directly with R&D engineers, engineering manager, application
engineers and service technicians. *This position is in the Manufacturing
field.*
*Qualifications:*
· AS in Engineering or Technology, preferably electrical
· 3-5 years experience working with similar products or markets, in
particular, metering and power systems
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory
for clear, professional interactions with team member
· Communication background with Ethernet, RS232/485, Modbus & DNP a
plus
· Experience with test equipment, programming tools and software
based test tools
