DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT *Business Analyst* *Location* : Milwaukee, WI *Duration*: 6 months plus *About this Position* We currently have an opening for an excellent, customer focused BA with at least 5 years of experience on large, complex projects. This Business Systems Analyst will work alongside business customers and other delivery practices (Governance, Architecture and Development, and Quality Management) to ensure that software system functions are aligned with organizational needs. The Business Systems Analyst will elicit business requirements and analyze existing business processes and their alignment with current systems or proposed solutions. In addition, the Analyst will model proposed software specifications and perform requirement / artifact traceability. Primary Roles and Responsibilities · Act as liaison for the integration and communication among applications, databases, and technology platforms on a business and technological level. · Conduct business process analyses and business needs/requirements elicitation in an effort to align information technology with business initiatives. · Perform analysis on existing systems; identify options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability. · Understand organizational motivations: problems, goals, and objectives. Assess and document the benefits, risks, and critical success factors of the project. Ensure / demonstrate that business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution. · Participate in developing functional and non-functional requirements, testing, training, and implementing applications into production environments that support the business unit. · Leverage CASE tools or templates to create elicitation, analysis, specification, validation artifacts. · Determine internal and external boundaries of project scope; raise change requests as required. · Document processes and work flows in swim lanes and narratives · Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and vendors. Act as the point of contact for key business decisions, current processes and business requirements.
