*Responsibilities:*

Serve as DHS SharePoint support lead to gather, analyze, and document
business requirements as they relate to the upgrade of DHS SharePoint 2003
Infrastructure to Office 365.

Work with vendors to test the SharePoint upgrade and migrate the SharePoint
team sites to the Office 365.

Setup of employee access for Office 365 SharePoint.

Perform all coordination efforts for Office 365 SharePoint as needed.

Create and design SharePoint team sites based on business unit requirements.

Manage site security and ensure that site content meets the DHS and GETS
security guidelines and standards.

Provide SharePoint end user and site administrator training for Office 365.

Assist in the development and maintenance of SharePoint training materials.

Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint problems.

Assist the DHS Office 365 System Administrator to perform the following
Responsibilities:

Setup of employees for Office 365 Lync.

Scheduling employee moves to Office 365.

Migrating email archives and any other needed data to Office 365 solution.

Assist with the coordination efforts for Office 365 as needed.

Diagnose hardware and software problems, replace defective components.

Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Operate consoles to monitor performance of the computer systems and
networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.

Performs routine maintenance of the SharePoint sites.

Monitors performance to determine whether adjustments are needed and
produce reports for management.

Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned area



*Minimum Qualifications:*

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field,
specialized training

Minimum of 4 years SharePoint experience and working with IT teams.

Proven SharePoint Central Administration capability in the o365 environment

Experience capturing and documenting business/system requirements

Excellent oral and written communications skills required

Strong analytic, problem solving, business judgment and organization skills
required

Experience working with all levels of staff and management in customer
departments, as well as different disciplines with varying degrees of
technical experience

Expertise knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Outlook, Visio and
Sharepoint (2013 versions)
