*Description*
Participates as a member of project delivery team. Takes part in the
creation and analysis of detailed business requirements creating functional
requirements. Is expected to be the IT subject matter expert during the
requirement phases of delivery projects. Contributes to design activities;
may design solutions. Designs, prepares and executes delivered
functionality tests to ensure they meet the requirements. Assists the
business in the UAT phase of a delivery. May assign work to others.
Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.
*Qualifications*
*Education and Experience Required:*
Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
*Knowledge and Skills Required:*
5 Years+ experience in a Business\IT Analyst role.
- Strong technical writing ability - functional specs, use cases and
test cases.
- Ability to understand and translate business requirements into
functional requirements.
- Experience in business process design.
- Strong Technical background
- Expertise in how best to implement applications into a business
domain.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ability to execute and review SQL queries.
Ability to work with a "virtual team".
Ability to appreciate different points of view.
Effective at resolving problems and issues.
Effective influencing skills and mediation skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Global orientation. Understands the complexities of implementing
solutions globally.
Strong meeting management and facilitation skills.
*Competencies:*
Experience working in the Financial services area.
Experience working in a large global organization.
UML expertise.
Microsoft .net development experience.
Oracle\SQL server development\administration experience.
Experience in using the following tools for requirements and test
case management
o ALM
o Agile Toolsets
o Quality Center
Experience working on an AX Dynamics or other similar ERP
application implementation.
Experience in defining\design\development of customer facing web
tools.
Experience in defining\design\development of intranet business
supporting applications.
