Job Description: Core Developer
*Duties:*
Design, code, support, and maintain toolkit and mortgage level components.
Expect 70% maintenance with 30% new development. 100% maintenance will be
the norm until proper knowledge of the system has been reached.
*Responsibilities:*
· Understand, approve, and flesh out requirements specific to
assigned coding tasks
· Implement solutions following WGSs architectural guidelines,
coding standards, and lessons learned documents
· Participate in the design of enhancements and new functionality
· Participate in the maintenance of existing systems and client
implementations
· Translate high-level business needs into feasible, technically
sound solutions
· Produce efficient and robust solutions concentrating on ease of
use for the end user
· Assist others within the firm in the use and configuration of
NetOxygen
· Communicate estimates and status updates on assigned projects
· Interact with other departments to provide assistance in
developing additional materials (e.g., project plans, training,
implementation, support)
*Skill Set and Proficiency (High Mid Low):*
*Required:*
· *High Proficiency:* C#, .NET
· *Mid Proficiency:* SQL, XML, XSLT, HTML, Jscript
· *Mid Proficiency:* C++, COM, Oracle, SQL Server
· *Low Proficiency:* VB Script, Mortgage knowledge
