This includes designing, developing and implementing enhancements for sales, marketing, and inventory control, using .Net framework, MS Access and SQL databases. - Second responsibility is to assist with new Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) implementations and custom interface implementations for COTS integrations. Our long term goal is to replace some of our custom applications with COTS but this will be over time. The COTS will need to integrate with the custom solutions until each piece can be retired. In addition the COTS systems must eventually be integrated once we retire the custom solution. · Contribute to development standards, best practices, policies and procedures as well as adherence. · Solicit and document software requirements. · Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging. · Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas. · Generate statistics and prepare and write reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process. · Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals, guidelines, knowledgebase’s and team documentation. *Education/Experience:* - B.S. in CIS with 5 + Years in a software development role - Knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
