Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer Location :Columbus or New Jersey Duration : 6-12 Months Job Description Network Engineer, Routing/Switching - Core Infrastructure Services Description Core Infrastructure Services (CIS) is responsible for the end to end delivery of distributed, storage, IP network and Data Center services consumed by applications and enabling infrastructure in the Data Center. You will be member of the team that builds, implements, and maintains network environments across a global footprint using leading edge technology to deliver the highest quality service and support at all times. In this position, you will be working with a team of engineers to deliver network implementation services for the JPMorgan Chase global enterprise network, with focus on data center networking. You will be called on to plan, design, install, manage and maintain the overall integration of the data center enterprise network. You will be responsible to: Analyze the organization's business needs and then implement, and maintain the network infrastructure to support those business needs Create network plans, document existing and proposed network infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers Provide fourth tier troubleshooting/support Interface with LOBs, vendors, and other technical representatives on developing networks solutions related to deploying network services in the data center Oversee service levels for network availability and operations Qualifications 5+ years of technical and network design experience with in a large enterprise environment 3+ years of related experience with Cisco products (routing/switching--Nexus Series, Catalyst, etc.) or relevant experience in key competitor offerings (i.e. Juniper J/M/E Series) Experience in analysis of business system requirements in a multi-platform distributed environment Experience with the following technologies : IP Routing, Ethernet Switching, VPN's, Security, QoS, Remote/Local Access, IBM SNA, Multi-Service (Voice and Video), Campus/MAN, WAN, Optical Networking, IP Services (DNS, Web Proxy, Socks), Multicast, Firewall (PIX, Checkpoint), geographic and/or local server load balancing Network certifications (Cisco or Juniper) are preferred Kindest Regard: Adams Nelson D:(609) 365-1676 Email: [email protected] Notice:This email contains confidential or proprietary information which may be legally privileged.
