Role : Sr. SAN Storage Engineer. Duration: 6Months. Location: Manhattan, NY The candidate will be responsible for providing engineering and operational support to the IT *Storage* group. The responsibility includes best practice creation and adherence, managing daily provisioning tasks and providing technical expertise on SAN and *storage* management projects. Responsibilities: - Ensures the availability, reliability, scalability, and manageability of SAN, NAS and various *storage* arrays - Provide effective solutions in support of business initiatives and operational efficiency - Investigates *storage* issues and provides resolution on complex problems following standard incident, change request and problem management processes - Manage projects related to *Storage* environment migration and growth working closely with UNIX, Windows and Network teams - Perform code upgrade and pro-active maintenance - Manage provisioning/de-provisioning of SAN *Storage* and NAS environment - Prepare technical documentation and conduct cross-training Required skills and qualifications: - 8-10 years of experience of total experience with 2-3 years minimum of experience as a Senior SAN and *Storage* *Engineer*.
