Job Title: Solaris Systems Admin Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 Months + Interview: 2Phone+ Inperson Description: We need a strong Solaris Admin who has had experience with creating Solaris packages or patches. Must-haves - Experience engineering or Solaris X86 - Jumpstart Server experience - scripting experience from scratch (Shell, Perl, or Python) Plusses -VMware experience ESX Day-to-Day looking for a Unix/Solaris Admin or Engineer. You would be responsible for packaging and supporting an infrastructure to deliver images of Solaris x86 and keep support of those images to include patching and new hardware qualifications. After initial builds of Solaris image, would likely work on the other RedHat OS as well to augment the current team. Make sure packages boot correctly on the network, install software application images correctly, and the scripts are written correctly to make sure that everything runs.
