REQUIRED SKILLS: -5 + years of overall experience. -2-3 years of experience in a Java/J2EE environment. -Extensive experience in translating business requirements into reporting/data specifications and technical specifications -Process mapping, including "as is" and "to be" states. Provide analysis, data modeling and recommendations on specific courses of action, such as problems within a business area. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements and revising existing systems. -Able to interpret complex and ambiguous needs and requests in combination with user feedback/research and product metrics and distill into clear, concise requirements and solutions to the Technical Team. -Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements -Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment -Able to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability. Minimal supervision and general direction. -Ability encompasses broad knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within particular field of specialization. -Provides lead level support in health plan business analysis of day-to-day operations -Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis & research skills -Able to work in a matrixed organization with Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations/Service, Engineering (onshore and offshore), QA, Release Management, Web Analytics and User Experience. -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective creation and delivery of executive level reports and in-person presentations. -Highly skilled in MS Office products – especially MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint & Word -Generally requires 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a related field of the primary product, program or technology -Knowledge of healthcare industry is desired Additional Skills: Experience with Web Application written in Java.
