*Oracle Warehouse Builder Mappings / Extract, Transformation, and Load
(ETL) Development*
- Define data transformation rules and determine most
appropriate method
for processing (extract-based, load-based, or dbms-based)
- Prepare detailed data mapping documentation
- Code ETL logic (transformation code) within the Oracle Data
Warehouse Builder tool This is expected to be a combination of PL/SQL and
SQL-based UNIX scripts to support data value transformation.
- Load data into Core data area of the Human Capital Diagnostics
Repository and/or other data systems
- Conduct timing and capacity testing to ensure production support
capability
- Develop exception and validation reports for transformation and load
jobs.
- Conduct data value testing at the conclusion of ETL development
Schedule ETL jobs using the Tivoli Scheduler Tool
