We have One Layer between Client and us and if you are Interested to work with us then Please submit Resumes to [email protected] Role: Technical Lead BI/ETL Solution Location: WA Duration: 6 Months Rate: Market * * The Technical Lead BI/ETL Solution is responsible for defining and developing technical standards and best practices for all aspects of ETL architecture, data integration and general data warehousing direction for the Online Support Customer Business Intelligence and In-Database Analytic Team. This position will collaborate proactively with functional users and must quickly understand the business issues and technical data challenges of the organization in order to review requirements, document business specifications/ processes and, recommend configurable technical component designs and solutions. *Principle Duties / Responsibilities:* *Project Management Competence -- * • Lead the work on various BI projects through all phases of data warehouse development life cycle; requirement gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, performance tuning, and production support. • Lead and govern the establishment of the business definition aspects of the metadata repository or catalog of information stores. • Provide assistance to project teams as they go before change control boards to implement their projects into production • Provide guidance and leadership on technical methodologies for projects, such as technical requirements, design topics, code reviews and testing procedures. *BI Data Modeling Competence:* • Design and maintenance of Star schema and efficient Multi-dimensional data modeling techniques *ETL Competence:* • Design and develop complex mapping logic from varied transformation logic like unconnected and connected lookups, router, filter, expression, aggregator, joiner, update strategy, union and more. • Lead the technical gap analysis. • Design, develop and deploy SSIS ETL functions, modules and packages, along with exception handling and process control routines • Install, configure and administer the SQL Server 2008 and SSIS/SSRS/SSAS environments • To perform data quality analysis, gather information to determine data sources, data targets, data definitions, data relationships, business rules, and data quality metrics • Prepare and review technical model requirements documentation to ensure accuracy and to ensure that impacts are identified, understood and communicated • Provide technical leadership of the design, development, deployment of ETL code required to populate data marts, or an entire data warehouse, from multiple sources - including data profiling, data extraction, data staging, and data transformation and loading procedures. • Ensure ETL development meets scheduled delivery milestones • Ensure ETL development meets (or exceeds) both the technical objectives and the functional business requirements • Ensure ETL development is consist with industry best practice, the established technical framework, and local client standards and practices • Participate in, and sometimes lead, code reviews and testing/validation cycles • Lead and mentor junior ETL developers • Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional specifications critical • Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how IT needs to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals • Proven ability to pull a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions • Web Analytics (Web, Forum and Community) definitely a plus • ERP system experience a plus *Required Experience:* • 8+ years extensive experience in data warehouses with deep understanding of dimensional modeling, star and snowflake Schemas, fact and dimension Table • Wide ranging hands on experience in data warehousing implementation; ETL processes, OLTP, OLAP, data mart, transformations, data mining and reporting- • Extensive experience in Data warehouse, ETL- Extraction/Transformation/Loading, E-LT -Extraction/Load/Transformation Data Analysis, Data migration on MS Access, Excel - MS SQL Data, preparation, Graphical Presentation, Statistical Analysis, Reporting, Data validation and Documentation. • Understand the larger context (the big picture) in which their efforts are a part • Make tactical technical decisions that are aligned with the established technical strategy and framework • Ability to prioritize tasks well and coordinated across different departments, participated in walkthroughs, requirement meetings, weekly and monthly status reports periodically. • Strong analytical, statistics and data modeling skills. • Experience in Data modeling using data modeling tool (MS VISIO and Erwin). • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and effectively with peers • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process • Strong analytical, planning Solid oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with individuals at all levels • Strong leadership experiences, with the ability to guide teams in project delivery and professional development • Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs • Passion for being the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "oraapps" group.
