Sr. Business Analyst – Business Warehouse Location: Natick Ma Duration: 5 months
Summary The Business Analyst will provide process and system support to Client’s Information Systems Department specializing in SAP’s Business Warehouse. This individual will actively partner with IS project and business stakeholders while executing as part of a project team and in providing assistance to functional users – including gathering and responding to system inquiries and enhancement requests. Additionally, they will act as a liaison between the business and the technical team to ensure that user needs are translated properly into system functionality. Responsibilities Be a team player on projects, as well as in providing support services to system users. • Build Quality into all aspects of work by championing quality processes and SDLC methodologies. Partner with the Software Quality Assurance to ensure compliance. • Provide production support services to the business and functional users, which includes addressing, troubleshooting, and resolving user issues. • Review, prioritize, and resolve outstanding IRs (Investigation Requests). Work with business and team as needed, and report status to management. • Work with business lead and global site representatives to define and document enhancement request requirements, ensure proper prioritization. • Work with configuration analyst, technical team and vendor (if required) to translate the requirements into the desired system change. • Create test plans, coordinate user testing and perform system testing, and document test results. • Assist with training for new functionality and refresher/site lead training. • Coordinate and communicate the implementation of fixes and enhancements into production. • Maintain ongoing communication with users. • Identify areas of process improvement. Experience Required • Bachelor’s degree in related field required • Minimum of 5 years professional Business Process/Analyst experience (systems analyst or application support a plus) • Experience with the SAP Business Warehouse • Self starter with strong, proactive work ethic and good interpersonal skills • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment.
