Thanks, Benoit and Joe.
For the benefit of the WG and a potential future request for WG presentation time, please find some background and motivation for our document below. * Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Network Operations https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-king-rokui-ainetops-usecases/ [datatracker.ietf.org]<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-king-rokui-ainetops-usecases/%20%5bdatatracker.ietf.org%5d> We understand you want to focus agenda time on WG documents. Having said that the authors and contributors of this draft believe it is important for WG to know about this work. The document details the outputs from our AI4NETWORK IETF side meetings, specifically focusing on use cases that leverage IETF frameworks, data models, and protocols. The document intends to illustrate how these technologies are being applied to AI-enabled network operations and identify gaps. Given the level of commercial interest in this topic, with contributions from three vendors and three operators, it seems timely for further discussion on the applicability of AI to network operations and how the IETF can best use available technologies and address any gaps. One potential challenge is that the document may span operations and routing; either way, it addresses near-term engineering scenarios. To maintain clarity and focus, any longer-term research or exploratory requirements will be made as a contribution to IRTF activity. We hoped to present the OPSAWG and RTGAWG content separately; we also need to figure out where the work might reside if there is interest in pursuing it. Dear Reza, based on this logic, sorry to mention that the packed agenda did not allow your presentation.
