Opsawg participants,

I am reaching out to seek guidance and feedback regarding the NEtwork Operation
for TElecom Cloud (NeoTec) Initiative. The primary objective of NeoTec is to
enable the network to automatically adapt to the evolving demands of telecom
cloud services. Below are some examples of the network changes that might be
initiated by Telecom Cloud Controller:

Bandwidth Adjustments: To accommodate changes in telecom cloud services across
various data centers, requiring augmentations to the existing
ietf-network-topology YANG model.
Load Balancer Modifications: Updating load balancer criteria to handle newly
deployed services with large flows, such as those driven by ML applications.
Since legacy load balance approach may lead to low network thoughput, new load
balance algorithm is required, this may require the development of a new YANG
model.
Dynamic ACL Updates: Communicating real-time ACL policy changes from the
Telecom Cloud Controller to the Network Controller, which may involve
augmenting the existing ACL YANG model.
Exposing Permissible Change Ranges: Enabling the network to expose its
permissible change ranges to improve integration and automation.

As the OPSAWG agenda for IETF121 is fully, we would appreciate your feedback
via the mailing list. Additionally, we will be hosting a side meeting on
Tuesday at 7 PM to discuss the initiative in greater detail.

We value your expertise and insights and look forward to your feedback and
participation.
