Dear e-impaxct, opsawg:

We did push a new version of subject draft to datatracker with some minor but
hopefully
useful enhancements, and did also receive since/in last iETF some feedback that
folks found
the document a useful read, especially as background for e-impact related work
they are
engafged in or planning for..

We would like to make a decision shortly after IETF117 where to continue work
on the draft.
The default is to go for individual submission, but we wanted to make sure that
we did
reaonsably exclude other options, even if just to make the ISE happy (does an
IETF WG want to
work on this ? ;-)

a) We previously asked OPSAWG if it was interested to progres the draft as a WG
item,
and while the document did in our impression receive good interest from the
OPSAWG audience
when presented, we did not have the actual discussion about adoption, and maybe
the chairs
or other WG members would have some feedback on the matter.

b) Also Cc'ing e-impact mailing list for the broader audience for which this
draft was written and asking
for feedback if any other possible tracks towards RFC would be useful to
consider.

Any feedback to this email very much welcome. We did not ask for the work to be
presented
in any WG slot at IETF117, but we will be happy to discuss it in person on the
public side meeting on monday 9:45 AM - 11:15 AM in Golden Gate 4.

Thanks so much
    Toerless
