According to discussion on yesterday’s CIRV project call (RI & RC call as well), the team thinks it is necessary that we first have an updates to the current committer updates for the CIRV projects, and will proceed with the PTL election process after we get a sufficient list of committers.
According to discussion yesterday, I would like to propose we do this in the following consequence. And please correct me if I am wrong about any process required in OPNFV charter. 1. Open for nominations for new committers for the project from the existing committers. According to yesterday’s discussion, I would like to nominate Chen Liang from China Mobile as new committers for CIRV. I will send out a separate email for this to the committers in the project, and please reply your vote timely. 2. Check current status for existing committers, and see if they are still interested in serving in the project. I will take this action and first check the activity for the committers in the passing months since the setup of this project, and contact to specific committers if necessary to ask for their planning. If needed, we will begin the process to move out committers 3. After we get a stable and sufficient list of committers, we will begin the PTL nomination process and election process.
