Thanks Trinath. Now that SFC changes are merged in OVN (as per your email), is it possible to use main OVN for this and ensure that SFC continues to work by OVN4NFV team? We are looking for that confirmation. BTW, we are intending to see whether OVN SFC can be leveraged for SFC chains involving CNFs and VNFs orchestrated by site orchestrator K8S and Service orchestrator, ONAP. Hence, looking for the confirmation before we start to propose and work on architecture around that.

We have seen certain issues with OVN:MAIN while working with SFC (no NSH). So with reference to [1] and [2] We used OVN:FORK to successfully do SFC with OVN. The need for using OVN:FORK is to have updates to new flows to handle service insertion. At the time when we started this work, FORK was not merged. Now I guess we have these changes merged [3].
