Hi all, I added some comments and voted on the test cases. One remark: milestone 2 is on Friday and requires all new test cases to be registered in the test API database. Has this process already started for the newly considered HA test cases?

What I mean is that the OpenStack control processes which are being killed by the tests can for instance run natively or containerized etc. and the HA test cases need to match that. I realize that there is the concept of different “attacker types” in Yardstick which may be used to address this. However, I am wondering – from a CVP perspective – if this requires to bring potentially different test case implementations and/or configurations into the Dovetail test suite. Yardstick Fraser planning[3] is also on going. We already plan to sync the requirement from HA Team. I would like to join the next HA meeting to discuss more detail about further HA test cases. What I did is to following the action point of Test WG weekly meeting[1], I briefly summarized the existing HA test cases in Yardstick repo and make a slide[2] to introduce HA testing to Openstack QA team, because they also would like to do some “ destructive testing” in Openstack community. They are planning to work out some HA test cases. Georg suggested it will be good that they adopt the HA test cases developed by OPNFV. 2, Srikanth mentioned there are also some on-going work within Erricsson that they would also like to contribute to OPNFV. Basically includes the following 3 HA test cases VM migration networking robustness of SDN controller DC Gateway HA 3, Kang Lin and Qiu Juan introduced their plan for the F release. They original plan is to update the Gui and framework of HA testing in Yardstick. Detailed test cases are not decided yet.
