Good, Euphrates also brings a lot of new things and bug fixes, so I think it makes sense to try the newest OPNFV.
If you use XCI as installer, note that it will create the controller, jumphost and compute nodes as VMs using OpenStack Bifrost, so you will not need virtualbox to do that as xci does it for you.
