Hi: As we consider a long time, and decide to rename OpenRetriever to Container4NFV. There’s no scope changed for this project. In China, there’ s a proverb. If the name is not correct, the words will not ring true.
‘OpenRetriever’name is good, but it doesn’t let people know what the project is doing at the first glance. In order to make it more clear, the name ‘container4nfv’ is more like the name ‘kvm4nfv’ ‘ovn4nfv’’ ‘compass4nfv’‘daisy4nfv’. The initial proposal is here: https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/PROJ/Project+Proposals+OpenRetriever . The topic will be discussed in TC Call and will be voted in opnfv-tsc meeting. Please give your comments if you have any concern.
