All, As many of you noticed 12+ hours ago, there was an outage of wiki & Jenkins slaves and I wanted to provide some information on what happened.
Outage: - Started at 7:11am Pacific Time - Service recovery: 7:30am Pacific Time for VPN-dependent services & 8:59am Pacific Time for the wiki Cause: There was a maintenance on HA firewalls, and failover to secondary firewall cause the VPN outage. In addition, the wiki had been incorrectly configure to only talk to primary HA systems. Fix: The LF IT team added the missing HA configuration and service monitoring to wiki.opnfv.org. In addition, service watcher has been added to the VPN service (so that it'd restart if it stopped). Please let me know if you have any questions, but I do apologize for the inconvenience. I felt the frustration myself as I was editing a wiki page with Tapio when the outage started, and the Test WG meeting that followed would have gone lot more smoothly with the wiki... Thanks, Ray
