All,

Continuing our tradition leading up to the OPNFV Summit, I'll soon be
kicking off the nomination process for OPNFV Annual Awards. As a reminder, The
goal of the annual awards is for the community to recognize the most valuable
technical contributors to OPNFV over the course of the year. The contribution
could be in code, documentation, testing, community building, or others
that the technical community believe were key for OPNFV.

The process we had for the Annual Awards worked well over the past 2 years,
and it was as follows:

   - Community members post nomination statements on a wiki page.
      - Using a wiki page so that I don't miss something in my inbox...
   - I will summarize the nomination statements (e.g. minor edits,
nominees listed
alphabetically, etc.) and post on the wiki.
   - A Condorcet ballot will be sent to all eligible voters. Eligible
voters are people who are subscribed to opnfv-tech-discuss mailing list AND
have Linux Foundation IDs (LFIDs). The list of eligible voters will also
be posted on the wiki and you can contact me if you believe there's an
   error.

In terms of the timeline, here's my proposal:

   - Nomination period: May 15th - May 22nd
   - Voting period: May 24th - May 31st
   - Winners announced at the OPNFV Summit in Beijing

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions...

Ray
