Thanks all for your generous words and kind understanding.

We have a single nomination for the next PTL - Gerald Kunzmann.

Promise team Committers, please share your +1s for electing Gerald as the new

Hello Peter,

I also want to express my deep recognition for all what you have accomplished
and your leadership in Promise. I am also very glad that you can continue to be
a member of the project. Your contribution will be very valuable.

As for Gerald’s nomination, you couldn’t have made a better choice. I fully
support that. The project will continue to be in very good hands.

Best regards,
Arturo

Hi Peter,

As you couldn’t have joined last Promise meeting, I’d also like to use this way
to express my thanks to your contributions to Promise. You had been leading the
project from the very beginning and had created the first releases for OPNFV
Promises and its test cases.
We are all happy that you, with your excellent knowledge of the project
requirements and pain points (and there had been numerous), will stay active in
the project and continue to provide your guidance to us.

Thanks also for your nomination as your successor. I am happy to accept the
nomination.

Best regards,
Gerald

Subject: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [promise] Project Lead Transition

Hi everyone,

I would like to inform the wider community that I will be stepping down as PTL
for the Promise project and initiating a new election period for the next
project team lead.

It's been an amazing two years serving as PTL for the Promise project. As one
of the founding projects of OPNFV initiated by Docomo, the Promise project has
participated in every OPNFV release to date and has benefited much from active
participation from many Committers and Contributors along the way. Thank you!

We will have a one week nomination period for anyone interested in serving as
the new PTL for the Promise project. Please share your nominations by 12/13 and
the current Promise team Committers will cast their vote starting on 12/14.

As outgoing PTL, I would like to nominate Gerald Kunzmann from Docomo as the
next PTL for the Promise project. He has been an active Contributor and
Committer since the project's inception and we wouldn't be where we are today
without his leadership.

I will continue to remain as a Committer to the Promise project and support the
ongoing project initiatives under the guidance of the next elected PTL.

On a related note, I am now serving as project lead for the newly incubated
Composer project in OpenCORD. If anyone's interested in modeling their services
and integrating into the CORD platform, just let me know.

Best,

Peter Lee
Promise PTL
