Hi,

I just wanted to check with the APEX team and anyone else that cares about
doing builds before making major changes to the wiki.

https://wiki.opnfv.org/display/apex/Integration+Guide has some directions for
performing a build. While they claim to be for both Colorado and master, they
are not.

sudo yum install -y https://www.rdoproject.org/repos/rdo-release.rpm

The line above points to the current rdo repo, which today points to the newton
release. It probably pointed to Mitaka at some point, but not today.

I would like to have it clear as to which build directions work with witch
release. I see at least 3 options for this:

1) Note the changes on the current all-inclusive wiki page.

2) Create a wiki for each release. These may have some overlap, but it
will be clear as to which set of directions you are using.

3) Create .md files in the Apex repo. This way the build directions can
be a part of the source tree, just like the install directions.

I prefer option 3, but I could see it being uncool to check build directions
into the Colorado/stable branch this late in the release cycle.

Are there other thoughts on how to proceed?

I am happy to do the work for the restructuring, but I don’t want to step on
anyone’s toes.

It would also be great if it was really easy for anyone to setup a build
environment.
