Good Day Everyone.

A short update to report that the lab migration is pretty much completed at
this point. Thanks to Jose and Fatih for the help in getting the new
servers/nodes (2 BM PODs, 2 build server, 4 vPods) up in the CI pipelines,
tested and ready for service in under a 10 days. The new lab is in full
operation and the new speeds, 1Gb each way, makes things super nice to develop
in. Would be interesting to see if we can get some statistics to see if there
is an actual improvement in build times directly.

At any rate. I know there are two lab requests in the pipe and I will be able
to hand those over tomorrow morning at some point. For any new lab requests
please ensure that you use the JIRA process and open a ticket in the INFRA
workgroup.

Kind Regards,
Daniel Smith

Subject: ERICSSON OPNFV LAB Migration Update - PLEASE READ.

Hello Everyone.

Today we brought the CI/CD pipeline (more or less) online in the new
Datacenter. The following labs have been built in the past 2 days and handed
over to Fatih who will do his magic and bring them into the fold as he deemed
appropriate in Jenkins.

ERICSSON-POD3 (BareMetal)
ERICSSON-POD4 (BareMetal)
ERICSSON-BUILD3 (build for CI)
ERICSSON-BUILD4 (build for CI)
ERICSSON-VIRTUAL2,3,4,5 (vPODs for CI).

User Labs are being moved as we speak and all current users of the ERICSSON
Montreal lab should expect to be moved off the Montreal POD (while it moves to
its new home) and onto the new DC by the end of the week. All current labs on
the Montreal POD will be shut-down and no longer accessible as of October 1st.
Any data/information/files that you have on the GW or in your labs will NOT be
ported (unless you have contacted me specifically).

User accounts (current keys) have been ported over - however, accounts will be
activated only as Lab requests (INFRA Tickets) are received. This applies only
to lab requests made in the month of September. If you have an active lab that
is slotted for migration, your accounts will go with it.

Cheers and happy computin'
Daniel
