Quoting "Robert P. J. Day" <[email protected]>:
long story short -- installed all of bird4 and bird6, bird6
configuration works fine graphically but bird4 blows up since (as I
read it) the supplied /etc/config/bird4 file contains a number of
"ospf"-related directives, but the bird4 package does not define
"ospf" stuff as valid UCI. (bird6 doesn't have this problem as
/etc/config/bird6 has no references to ospf.)
am I just doing something massively silly? all of the bird
packages installed properly so the dependencies must have been
satisfied. where does bird4 ospf support come from? thanks.
*sigh* ... never mind, I just found this:
https://github.com/eloicaso/bird4-openwrt/commit/7ef9dddddd74dc051cb34a97289ed680006bd8e2
which reads:
"Add OSPF configuration to prepare its addition to the integration."
which suggests that the config info was added to the config file,
before actual support is there. grrrrrr ...
