Hi all,

Has someone experience with the D-Link DHP-1320 [1] Hardware version A1
(I suppose there is only one hardware version)?

D-Link offers a custom build environment for the device [2], and I have
had success building a new firmware after fixing some problems with the
makefiles. The device boots fine from the new firmware that I built.

The device also has the recovery console of the D-Link DIR-600 [3].

The device has an Atheros chipset with an AR7241 chipset with 8MB ROM,
but I don't know the amount of RAM that it currently has, as there is no
telnet/ssh port open to get into the device. The only interaction is via
the web interface. The device seems to be an AP98 version (not sure what
that stands for), and supports the PowerLine 200Mbps standard. It has
one USB port.

Any advice how to get OpenWRT running on the device (I saw some patches
for Backfire that included the AR7241 chipset), and/or how to get telnet
access on the device to look at more details (pciutils can be included
in the image) would be most welcome.

Thanks & kind regards,

Georg
