Hi,

Is there a way to compile github private repositories as package in openwrt? All the package Makefiles that I have looked at use https/http to clone the repository. Private repositories would require authentication while cloning.

Thanks

Assuming that you want to do this to compile your own firmware images, since adding login credentials in OpenWrt buildsystem would defeat the point of a private repo and none would merge that.

Imho the easiest way is to make a simple script that git clones from your repo(s) into a local folder on the build machine and uses right credentials, and then add that folder as local repository in feeds.conf.
