A fix might be to have scan.mk emit a new field Source-Package for .packageinfo from PKG_NAME and have metadata.pm use that source name instead of the subdir name.

Hi all,

There is a problem with the recent package rename from libtool to
libltdl - it break a lot of packages in the packages feeds (or at least
causes a great number of warnings; haven't tried ignoring the warning yet).

The issue occurs because metadata.pm assumes that the subdirectory name
is the same as the source package name (PKG_NAME), however with the
libltdl commit that is not true of package libtool

(PKG_NAME=libtool but subdir name is libltdl).

It is not safe in OpenWrt to have PKG_NAME != subdir name.
