This fixes to sources of build failures with dante when using musl. The first is to eliminate a dirty hack that dante uses for rather questionable (seems like "I'm smarter than libc implementors" syndrome) reasons. This hasn't been tested in actual use because I don't actual dante, I just use CONFIG_ALL and want my builds to succeed without specifically disabling Dante and forgetting to mention this issue on the list.
