I wonder why in https://dev.openwrt.org/changeset/35012 the choice was made to use the firewall to prevent ULA destination addresses from trying to be reached on the WAN vs. using routing rules and "unreachable" routes. Something like:
unreachable fc00::/7 dev lo metric 1024 error -128 in the routing table for example. Cheers, b.
