Hey, I just happened across this post with a google search. I know it's a year old, but I am also looking to install Redis on an OpenWrt system.
I believe that uClibc is the main culprit to make's failure. I don't know how far you got, but here's what I've done so far: https://github.com/antirez/redis/issues/2347. Any input, hints, tips, or whatever would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
