Should we build a host version of OpenSSL (or LibreSSL now?) which has
evp enabled instead and link u-boot mkimage against it?
this would be another approach.
I see the following...
Pros:
- fewer deps to the host system
- full control of the version and library used (openssl vs. libressl)
Cons:
- yet another host tool to maintain
- increased build time
There might still be after aspects. I do not have a strong preference
at the moment.
Other opinions?
Should I work on this and send a patch for this?
