I've been having this issue too on r38503 and I've tried all variations of wifi channels and modes.
It crashes every time I try to stream a video file to a widows 8 tablet within a few minutes of streaming. Any new clients can not join the network and current clients lose connectivity. The windows 8 wifi manager goes to "limited connectivity" at this stage.
