When I created this config file, it was based purely off the existing WIDE-DHCPv6 config file requirements. The only way to avoid this variable in the config file will be for someone to patch the source code so it automatically calculates the value based on the size of the delegated prefix. I've moved house recently and no longer have access to an ISP that provides native IPv6. This makes it difficult for me to test, however I will see what I can do.
