As someone who uses quagga, I currently have the generic config manually 
edited to enable TCP-MD5 signatures. Ideally though, I'd like to see trunk 
modified such that this option is enabled by default - or at the very least 
available as a menuconfig option - a number of mainstream distros (RHEL, 
Fedora, Ubuntu) just blanket-enable it as the overhead is negligible - 
additionally, TCP-MD5 will be made available in a future version of 
OpenVPN, thus people in places/countries who can only get away with using 
TCP will at least be able to protect their sessions from a peer reset.
