I like it, since I've been doing something similar in trying to figure out what makes dhcp-leases go fubar at times. ( Boils down to "stupid home routers", hook a device to a swtich behind router with a 7 day dhcp-lease tine, and then power-cycle the router, and you will end up without net for 3+ days while udhcp waits for lease renewal. The fix? Reaching out through the screen and killing all device makers that have 7 days as default lease time.
