Hi.

I pointed out a few months ago that eglibc breaks periodically and typically
stays broken for weeks at a time (or longer).

I'd like to fix eglibc, and the way that other packages build in the presence
of eglibc, and then get this into the build-bot manifest so that as changes are
committed that regress this, that they become visible right away.

Would anyone object to having an x86/alix2 target with ALL built against eglibc
as one of the regular build targets?

I can, if needed, buy an i7 mobo with SSD disk drive, though for the $600 USD
or so that it would cost to get this build server up and running and added to
the pool of build hosts, a little help would be appreciated.

Is anyone else interested in getting eglibc to build and run reliably?

There are certain 3rd party Codex (skype, g.729, etc) that are only available
in binary form and only to link against eglibc, so in that respect eglibc is
indispensable.

Thanks,

-Philip
