[ OT ] I think assign a name also to alias is a good things

config 'alias' myaliasname

config 'nterface' 'lan'
    option 'type' 'bridge'
    option 'proto' 'dhcp'
    option 'ifname' 'eth1 eth2'

The missing i on interface is only a mail related typo or you have
this on your config ?
