Please forget about this patch. The patches to modify the samba Makefile, are overridden by the configure script. It was send to the list much too hasty...
I am working on updating samba to a newer version (hopefully 3.0.27, which is the highest 3.0.x version). All in order to get some experience with these kind of things (although the samba3 package does not seem to be a nice start...). This update will also contain the correct file locations.
