Felix, An interesting idea, but it appears that the multicast traffic
is not passed up by the "old" binary driver.
Plus I have a couple of modifications that I have made to the Linux
bridge code to support MAC based VLANs.  I would have to add support
to relayd to support that as well.  I fear that it will end up being a
bit messy.

Is there any documentation/man pages for "relayd".  I haven't been
able to find any - may have to read  the source
