https://dev.openwrt.org/attachment/ticket/8132/openwrt-asterisk-1.8.patch is an update that replaces asterisk 1.4/1.6 with version 1.8.1. The patch needs more SVN commit rights than I have. Could someone please apply this (and get me the correct rights for 1.8.x maintenance?)
