What do you mean by that?
Kernel developments are more related to the lacie-nas project than openwrt?

You mean I can intercept the front button push/release events? I figured that.
I suppose we still need some way to make it perform something useful though.
For instance, how is the poweroff really performed?
Apart from detecting the button-pressed event, I suppose there is
something written on some permanent storage, and then reset is
asserted.

You mean there is still a lot of work for the Orion as well?
Or the Kirkwood?
I'm assuming we had everything for the Orion from LaCie, and I
suppose the same should apply for the Kirkwood.
I mean, haven't LaCie released a kernel for the Kirkwoord-based devices?
