I committed your patch in r15289. Not sure what you mean with enable by default; OpenWrt will usually build every package as part of a release so that it's installable with opkg later. Once the snapshot builds are reactivated, your module will appear on downloads.openwrt.org . We usually do not include specialized packages in the image so don't expect this module to be embedded in one of the release images.
