Hi everyone,

this might be a wrong attempt to write something here for more than
one reason (for one, I admit that I've read the rules only briefly
and I didn't really try to dig too deep into the forums), but I'll try
anyway.

Last week I've tried to get the sources from SVN and found a problem.

While building an image for ASUS WL-500GP (Broadcom chipset, kernel
2.4), I ran into some troubles with ImageBuilder. However the image
from buildroot environment was OK, I was unable to build a working
ImageBuilder.

Typical symptoms: number of repeating errors while installing
packages. To give an example:
ipkg_get_install: ERROR: Cannot find package base-files-brcm-2.4-2.4
in
/home/{---whatever-the-path-to-ImageBuilder-TOPDIT-is--}/root-brcm-2.4/usr/lib/ipkg/lists
ipkg_get_install: Check the spelling and maybe run `ipkg update'.

Changing the Makefile helped - now the image gets created more or less
correctly (i.e. if I upload it, it works - didn't do any deeper
verification). In the attachement, there's the new makefile. The
changes are commented directly in the file, sorry for not sending only
the patch (think I'd need some privileges to SVN to do that, right?) .

The mentioned Makefile is to be found in the
"{sources-from-SVN-TOPDIR}/target/imagebuilder/files", or directly in
the TOPDIR of ImageBuilder.

Feedbacks are welcome, wrist-slaps for breaking whatever the community
etiquette here is are not welcome, but still accepted.

Best regards
David Hnilica
