i saw that, but it's still potentially confusing for someone reading that for the first time to get differing sets of instructions, particularly to be told for git that you can check out the packages branch before you're even told what that branch represents. why not just explain what the packages branch is up front, and have equivalent sets of instructions for each version control system? why make it harder than it has to be? rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
