It is sometimes good with some degree of confusion, but it can also become to much (sorry for my part in it). What you have to look at is the file you have changed/modified - in this case a Makefile related to the esound package. You'r required to reproduce the original license header and credits in the header (of this specific file), but it is up to you if you wish to add yourself to it. In the later case the header would probably look similar to the following: ************************* Copyright (C) 2008 Martin Metzker Copyright (C) 2007 OpenWrt.org This is free software, licensed under the GNU General Public License v2. See /LICENSE for more information. ************************** Though you could also continue with assigning the copyright of the Makefile to the OpenWrt Project, by simply leaving your own name out and just adding the year 2008. It is really appriciated that you do the effort to commit a ported package to OpenWrt. I'm very sure that all of the present developers hope that you will continue doing this, and you should feel free to ask for advice and help. Again, I'm very sorry for both the frustration and confusion created. -- Gregers Petersen Anthropology, talk and people-stuff _______________________________________________ openwrt-devel mailing list openwrt-devel@lists.openwrt.org http://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-devel
