OpenWrt is mainly a platform for developers and experienced Linux users.

We talked a lot about what to do with the wiki and how to structure our documentation and decided, that the wiki is not suitable as main source of documentation. Misinformation gets spread and repeated way too quickly, and many people tend to assume that everything stated in the wiki is correct. By keeping the docs in SVN instead, we can use a proper format, which is easy to update and shuffle around, and we restrict access to developers, who are supposed to know what they're doing and review changes from other people. - Felix _______________________________________________ openwrt-devel mailing list openwrt-devel@lists.openwrt.org http://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-devel
