Dear Dev-List In as much as there has been no further comments, regarding my earlier comments on the subject of an OpenWrt Documentation-Team, I will tomorrow post the following in the forum:
------------- Documentation-Team members wanted There has during the last months been a slow burning discussion, on the devel-mailinglist and irc, about OpenWrt being in need of a Documentation-Team. The rapid development of Kamikaze, with its many different platforms and increased focus on OpenWrt becoming a strong alternative to other embedded systems, leaves a lot of white pages in its wake. These white pages need to be turned into well-written documentation. The writing of documentation is, and has always been, a part of development which often lacks behind. Usually the individual developer also writes the documentation, but the core-team of developers of OpenWrt are lacking the time to write and compile the documentation themselves. Therefore the subject of organizing an OpenWrt Documentation-Team has become part of the ongoing discussions. Should you be interested in becoming part of such a Documentation-Team please add your irc nick to this posting, or email openwrt-devel (openwrt-devel@lists.openwrt.org). The OpenWrt core-team will from amongst the interested members appoint a team-leader(s), who will be in charge of the initial process of organizing the work. ------------------------ Chz -- Gregers Petersen, Anthropologist [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.wireless-ownership.org [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ openwrt-devel mailing list openwrt-devel@lists.openwrt.org http://lists.openwrt.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openwrt-devel
